For the past four summers we have been so lucky to have my niece Allie come for a visit and stay with us for a week. It is always so much fun for McKenna and I to plan all the fun activities we will do while she is here. In the past we have done plays, swimming, Lagoon, etc. and it seems to be a good time. McKenna and Allie have such a great relationship and it is so nice for them to build that relationship over the week. It reminds me of the relationship I have with my cousin and I can tell you that those ties never die. (I love you Kara!)
The trips don't always go smoothly and there seems to be a few things that happen every time, but we get through them and it just makes each trip a little unique. Allie was here when I had Ella, two years ago, she came to the hospital and everything. This trip she even had to see an ER doctor in order to get an earring out of her ear that was stuck pretty well in there. We love to have her in our home and we are always glad that she comes back.
They do get a little silly! I have no idea what is on their mouths?
Allie drove down with us to Cedar City to watch Isaac play Baseball. I think she was pretty tired of baseball by the end of the weekend. So was I.
We enjoyed some good swim time and goofing off.
They played this "Who wants to be a millionaire" game and they won a ton of tickets. It was pretty fun to watch them.
We had a great time bowling and I think Allie beat everyone on one of the games!Thanks Allie for making the effort to come and see us. We love you and are so glad to have you here.
